As we continue to expand, we're seeking a dedicated pool and hot tub Service Technician to join our team. Position Overview: As a service technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing pools and hot tubs for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance tasks on pools and hot tubs, including cleaning, water testing, and chemical balancing. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues with pool and hot tub equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and controllers. Conduct inspections of pool and hot tub systems to identify potential problems and recommend preventative maintenance measures. Install, upgrade, and replace pool and hot tub equipment as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Maintain accurate records of service visits, inspections, and repairs. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on pool and hot tub systems. Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in pool and hot tub maintenance and repair. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the service department. Provide guidance and assistance to customers on proper maintenance and usage of their pool and hot tub systems. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus. Proven experience as a pool and hot tub service technician or a similar role. Strong knowledge of pool and hot tub equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and controllers preferred. Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment and work in outdoor environments. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
