Manager II, you will be responsible for managing projects of
moderate visibility and complexity, from design to release for
customers, monitoring the project from initiation through delivery
and program closeout. Under the supervision a program manager, you
will ensure the successful completion of projects by assembling
teams, assigning responsibilities, and managing resources. You will
help develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets
and deliverables; identify needed resources for projects; and
interface with internal and external customers or field-based
employees on technical matters as needed. You will gain people
management skills, supporting indirect resource management for
accomplishment of program efforts. You will gain Earned Value
Management (EVM) skills by supporting Control Account Manager
activities. You will be responsible for all aspects of the project
lifecycle: proposal development, planning, scope, definition,
design, execution, delivery, and program closeout. You will track
progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other
performance indicators, and prepare reports to stakeholders. The
Project Manager will need to be agile and flexible, as changes will
be certain and frequent. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance &
Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a
leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and
unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative,
high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command,
Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance &
Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration,
test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics

under) budget deliveries. Responsibilities: Manage multiple
projects or a larger project, overseeing all phases from proposal
development to project closeout. Assemble project teams, assign
individual responsibilities, and identify appropriate resources.
Develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and
deliverables. Interface with internal and external customers or
field-based employees on technical matters as needed. Communicate
project status with senior project managers, functional area
managers, or program managers. Track progress against milestones,
budgetary guidelines, and other performance indicators. Prepare
reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status. Ensure
timely completion of projects by developing and adhering to
schedules. Remain agile and flexible to adapt to frequent changes
in project requirements or scope. Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field. 4
years of experience in project management and/or in a related or
technical field. Relevant experience can be considered as a
substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the
absence of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience is
required. Higher level relevant degree may substitute for
experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project
management software. Demonstrated experience in managing a complex
project with multi-function team. Ability to work independently and
as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical
skills & capability to meet schedules. Strong leadership,
communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to
obtain and maintain US Secret security clearance Qualifications We
Prefer: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Experience managing projects requiring Earned Value Management.
Experience with risk management planning and documentation.
Experience managing project scope and scope creep during project
execution. Experience in resource planning and management during
project execution. Knowledge of Kaizen & Lean Manufacturing
principles. Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 & CMMI process standards.
Familiarity with government contracting and regulations. Essential
Functions: Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel
as required. Capacity to work in a hybrid environment, balancing
office and remote work. This posting will be open for application
