Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Wichita, KS Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,752 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Travel RN - Emergency Department Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must hold a valid state nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. - BLS - ACLS - PALS - ENPC - NIH - Valid nursing license - Experience in traveling or experience in large facility settings Description: The Emergency Department is seeking a travel registered nurse. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment. The unit has a total of 52 beds. There are 134 staff members. Patient ratios average 3:1, with low acuity at 5:1, and team nursing for pediatrics. Typical procedures in the unit include IV starts, medication administration, and sedations. A good grasp of patient experience is essential. Candidates should be diverse and able to learn quickly. We are looking for individuals who can handle a fast-paced environment. The unit leverages Meditech for electronic medical records. The ideal candidate will have been a part of a large emergency department before. This is an opportunity to gain experience and work alongside a young, dynamic team. Expectations include scanning patients and medications consistently.
