Job Title: Seasonal Travel RN - Tele Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Knowledge of medication drips, central lines, heart cath recovery Description: This is a seasonal travel position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. The role involves working night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. The unit consists of 14 beds and includes both RNs and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs). Patient ratios on the night shift are typically 1:4. Staff includes RNs and PCTs with additional support from unit secretaries and techs. The unit is equipped with chest tubes, IV pumps, and various drains. Documentation is completed using the Meditech electronic medical record system. The team is expected to provide a positive patient experience, demonstrate critical thinking, and engage collaboratively. Advanced skills will not be considered for the role. Candidates must possess certifications in BLS and ACLS. This position may require floating to other units as needed. Candidates with preferred skills will be prioritized during the hiring process.
