Job Description HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Wichita, Kansas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract - Number of Beds -26 - Number of Staff – 15 - Type of staff: - Day Shift –13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Patient Care Tech - Night Shift - 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Patient Care Tech - Patient Ratios – 1:2; 1:1 for high acuity including post CABG patients - Type of equipment – Balloon pumps; CRRT; Hypothermia; ECMO - EMR -Meditech - Typical Procedures: - Trauma patients; Post-CABG; Post-TAVR; General post-surgical ICU patients - Chest tubes; central lines; Medication drips Must Haves:/n- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred/n- A recent 12 months of ICU RN experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting/n- KS RN License/n- BLS, ACLS, TNCC or ATCN, and NIH Certifications/n/nPreferred or Nice to Have:/n- MediTech Experience/n- Travel Experience
