Responsibilities Our well-respected and established neonatology practice at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS, is recruiting for a Neonatologist who is interested in an evolving QI team-based opportunity.Why Join Us? - Fully Supported 8-Physician Practice: Join a collaborative and dynamic team at Wesley Medical Center. - Minimum 2 neonatologists on until 4pm. Very close knit team creating a flexible schedule with strong NNP support - 24-Hour In-House Coverage: Work in our Level-III, 80-bed NICU with round-the-clock coverage. - No call required from home! - High Acuity Enviorment - 6,000 deliveries each year, with the intensive and special care units averaging around 1,200 admissions annually and an average daily census of 60. - High volume with procedures: Handle OK/NE/Western Kansas transfers - LPs, Lines, etc. - Comprehensive Services: Provide all services except ECMO and heart surgery. - Supportive Environment: Work alongside residents and nurse practitioners for both day and night shifts. - Academic Affiliation: Affiliated with KU School of Medicine - Wichita, offering extensive QI and research opportunities. - J1 Visa candidates encouraged to apply - Lucrative Compensation: Enjoy a competitive base salary plus bonus compensation package that includes guaranteed first-year incentive combined with additional sign-on and relocation bonuses.
