Job Description:
Overview Spirit AeroSystems designs and builds aerostructures
for both commercial and defense customers. With headquarters in
Wichita, Kansas, Spirit operates sites in the U.S., U.K., France

around the globe. Responsibilities Verifies dimensions of parts
using both mechanical and electronic measurement tools and,
relative to these inspection duties, initiate and document
corrective action for programming issues and other problems.
Employee must have the skill and knowledge to perform in all of the
general functions of the Assembly Mechanic listed below: Sealer
Assembler Sub Assembly Assembler/Installer Structures Inspection to
include the following: a) Maintain required personal
certifications. b) Perform complete inspection, including first
part review, of procured or fabricated parts and assemblies. c)
Initiate and document any non-conforming condition for Material
Review Board action. d) Perform process surveillance to assure
compliance with requirements. e) Prepare and maintain quality
records. Setup and operate conventional and Computerized Numerical
Controlled (CNC) fastening equipment, similar to Multi-Task Gantry
Riveter's (MTGR's), Brotje's , C-Frames, IPAC's etc., to assemble
components in accordance with engineering specifications, and/or
the IAM JOB DESCRIPTION 4 GENERAL employee must have the skill and
knowledge to perform in two or more of the specialties listed
below: Assembly/Installation Doors Integral Fuel Cell Sealing
Precision Bench Assembly Pressure and vacuum testing Provide
high-level technical support and leadership relative to assembly
and installation. Qualifications All Candidates must pass the
WorkKeys Assessment (www.workkeys.com) or provide verification that
they have passed the WorkKeys Assessment. Delay in completing your
WorkKeys Assessment will result in a delay in your start date. You
may complete your assessment in advance of an interview. All
applicants must be willing and able to work any shift, including
